We had some students earn their certificates for learning all their shapes! Unfortunately we didn't get photos of all the kids with certificates, but here are a few. Congratulations Everyone!!!

"T" is for Turtle

Last week we learned all about the letter "T." We also made some beautiful turtles! Come in and check out our newest classroom decorations!

Spring Fun!

We had Family Camp during Spring Break and focused our attention on "Spring."  We played outside and blew bubbles, played with sand/water, planted seeds and watched our Sunflowers grow, finger painted flowers, and made "Birds Nests."

Making Fingerprint Rainbows

Today we made Fingerprint Rainbows- the kids wanted me to take photos of their fingers because they each had a rainbow on their hand. They also "wrote" and illustrated Rainbow Books. They each told me what they were drawing a picture of and I wrote it in the book for them. Some of the pictures included "a blue Hammerhead Shark," "an orange lemon," "a red chair," and a "purple rocket ship."

Rainbow Fun Week!

We had a great week filled with rainbows! The kids made Circle Rainbows, Rainbow Streamers, Rainbow "R's" and rainbows with Fruit Loops cereal. We completed our "Letter R Books" today!

Two New Book Packs Available

Our "Book Packs" are theme-related books that you can check out to use at home with your child. Each Book Pack contains one book (related to a theme we had done during the year) and several activities that go along with the theme of the book. Checking out a Book Pack is easy! Choose your book and slip the book description (attached to the bag) into your child's cubby. Just re-attach the description when you return the Book Pack. Please let us know if you discover any of the materials missing so that we can replace them.
